FOUNDER & CONSULTING DIRECTOR
Hello! I'm Leigh Ann, founder of Journey Adoption Consultants. My husband and I live in Georgia with our two children, both of whom joined our family through domestic infant adoption in 2012 and 2017. Like many hopeful adoptive parents, our journey included infertility, unanswered questions, and moments when we felt like we were navigating the process alone. Through those experiences, God placed a passion on my heart to make adoption less overwhelming for other families.
In 2018, I founded Journey Adoption Consultants with one goal: to provide Christian adoptive families with the education, guidance, and advocacy I wish we'd had during our own journey.
Today, while our incredible consultants work directly with the families we serve, I work behind the scenes to ensure every family receives the highest level of support possible. I oversee our consulting team, develop our education and processes, build relationships with ethical adoption agencies and attorneys across the country, evaluate adoption opportunities, and continually look for ways to strengthen the experience we provide our families. I also spend much of my time growing our professional network so we can continue connecting families with trusted adoption professionals nationwide.
Nothing brings me greater joy than watching our families receive "the call" and knowing that the systems, education, relationships, and team we've built at JAC helped make that moment possible.
Fun Facts: I could eat Mexican food every day, coffee is essential, I'm a proud Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Braves fan, and you'll usually find me cheering on my kids at the ballfield, working out, planning a Disney trip, or wandering the aisles of TJ Maxx or Target.

Hi! I’m Bre, and I live in Alabama. In 2011, I married my high school sweetheart, Corey. From the early stages of our relationship, we both shared a desire to grow our family and wished to do so through adoption. Once Corey completed seminary, we began our adoption process in 2018. Just a few months later, our beautiful little Stella was born in June 2018. We share a great open adoption relationship with her birth family and are so blessed they chose us! I have experienced both the joys and sorrows of adoption. In 2020, when we began the adoption process again, Corey and I experienced a disrupted adoption. Although it was not what we had planned nor hoped for, we knew that the Lord's plans are greater than ours, and we trusted that He is continuing to write our adoption story. In 2021, we received a surprising call that we were chosen by a mother who had given birth to a little boy the day before! A few days later, sweet Oliver was put in our arms. We have begun to build a beautiful open adoption with Oliver's birth family.
I have a HUGE heart for adoption. I love to share, educate, and encourage others considering adoption and navigating their adoption journey. There is no greater love we can show! I hope that I can be a support to those seeking their own little one and connect them with the perfect adoption agency or resource to grow their family.
Fun Facts: I have had my cosmetology license for over a decade and love doing hair. My morning workouts are a must! I don’t like coffee…but love a good iced coffee and of course, Chick-fil-a sweet tea. The beach is my favorite place be. I’m an Alabama fan (Roll Tide!). My favorite stores to shop at are Target and Old Navy.

Hi everyone. My name is Marcy. I live in Texas with my husband of 26 years, and we have loved every second of raising our three children together. Proud mom brag…Our daughter is a social worker in Arkansas at a therapeutic day school, and our amazing middle son is getting his degree in animation and game design and is a huge LEGO fan. Our youngest son is currently running track at my alma mater, Dallas Baptist University, and studying entrepreneurship. My husband was adopted as an infant and has taught me so much about being an adoptee. He is on staff at our church, which has its own foster care and adoption support program.
I have worked in all parts of the adoption field where God has allowed me to help expectant moms making an adoption plan for their child, with adoptive families both during the home study and adoption process, as a support with both birth moms and adoptive families following an adoptive placement, and also as an adoption consultant. I enjoy writing adoption articles and doing as much research as possible for those I work with.
My favorite part of working with adoptive families is providing encouragement during the wait. My signature verse is “Be still and know that I am God.”-Psalm 46:10. I hope that each family I work with knows that they are prayed for, thought of, and supported.
Fun Facts: I am a huge autism advocate. I love the beach, mountains, and Disney! I am a collector of books, but I often read several at once. If you are looking for me, you will likely find me at TJ Maxx or Target, with a Starbucks Hot Chocolate in my hand.
JAC is not an adoption agency, adoption facilitator, or adoption intermediary. We do not work with birth mothers, birth families, or place children for adoption.
